The brainchild of writers John O’Farrell (“Have I Got News For You”) and Karey Kirkpatrick (“James And The Giant Peach” “The Spiderwick Chronicles”) together with music by Wayne Kirkpatrick, known for his work with Little Big Town and Garth Brooks to name a few, the idea remained with the Kirkpatricks for 10 years until they joined forces with O’Farell in 2010. 5 years later, Something Rotten! was born, skipping the pre-Broadway tryout and opening at the St. James Theatre on March 1st!
