Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote Hamilton as a way to deliver the story of "America then, as told by America now". Hamilton delivers on this goal by casting ethinic minorities to act the America's Founding Fathers such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton. Trey Curtis, Jared Dixon, Tamar Greene, and Stephanie Jae Park are a few of the many minority performers who currently bring Hamilton to life.
