California, you have to get ready for one of the ultimate representations to Shakespeare’s most famous work! Giving new meaning to 'contemporary' and founded on one of the impressive love stories spanning multiple generations, the new jukebox musical, & Juliet, is coming to the theater stage on Wednesday 9th July 2025 and hosted in Orpheum Theatre of San Francisco.
From the perspective of the main female character of Shakespeare's iconic tragedy, ‘& Juliet’ presents the possible scenario wherein Juliet resolves to move forward after she loses the love of her life and her profound realization of the real meaning of life during the time of her journey to the districts of Paris. In her journey, our main lead meets both familiar friends and brand new characters that were made for more modern audiences. Building on the original with contemporary themes, the musical revitalizes the late tragedy and is more fit for the current times.

The world’s most famous love story has gotten a slight modern twist, straight from the brilliantly creative mind of the David West Read.
At the core of it all, is the timeless music of the pop powerhouse, Max Martin.
