Orpheum Theatre
BroadwaySF’s Unscripted series continues with arguably the most powerful woman in American politics. The House of Representatives Speaker, Emerita Nancy Pelosi, will be at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco on Tuesday, August 13th. This event is going to cause the stars to come out. There are a ton of ways that this night could go, particularly once the lecture concludes and the floor is open for questions. Pelosi is still very much engaged in the inner workings of the American political system. At the time of writing, she’s one of the voices in the room trying to decide whether President Joe Biden should remain on the ticket for the Democratic Party in the upcoming election.
All the things that are going on and will continue to take place prior to the election will make this an even juicier event to attend. There’s a good chance that history will be made at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco on Tuesday, August 13th. Click the get tickets button to be a part of it.
Before attending one of these lectures, it’s always a good idea to have a sense of what to expect. In the case of “An Evening with Nancy Pelosi,” as this event has been titled, there will be mainly two people on stage throughout the entire time. Apart from Speaker Pelosi, former host of the award-winning KQED Forum, Michael Krasny, will be on stage as well. Krasny will be tasked with guiding the conversation to ensure that Nancy Pelosi touches on all the important subject matters of the night.
Here’s perhaps the second wrinkle for this event. What exactly are those important topics that will be discussed? The public will likely want to focus on more contemporary events like the election. Of course, the assault on Nancy’s husband, Paul is still very fresh in everyone’s mind. That scenario could be another one that folks would like her to address. These hot topics, though, may get pushed back to the Q&A section that typically takes place at the end of the lecture.
It’s important to keep in mind that as of 2023, Nancy Pelosi’s Congressional District covers most of the city of San Francisco. Therefore, local concerns may be at the forefront of the event. Michael Krasny will likely provide Speaker Pelosi with an opportunity to reflect on the past as well. All of this could make the evening quite enriching, regardless of any personal opinions that people in the audience may have on Pelosi. As mentioned, it’s the end of the lecture that could heat up. If you want to have a chance to ask Speaker Pelosi a question, you need to be at the Orpheum Theatre on Tuesday, August 13th.
The Orpheum Theatre is a great venue for these types of events. There will be no problem for anyone in the building to see the stage or hear Nancy Pelosi clearly. If you want to interact with the Speaker, your best bet is to sit in the front rows. There are still plenty of spots available in this area. They could dry up quickly, though, as reporters, writers, and VIPs snatch them up. Click the get tickets button soon to be a part of this experience.
